Refections, wish i would have had more time this busy week to play with this more, great challenge choice Amy, not alot of sunshine the day I shot so I get what I could from around the house, still all good photo fun!
I love the black and white shots , my two faovorites were #4 and 6 though... Youre so creative...of course how can you go wrong with Children and pets :-)
Ingenious using a CD on #3 - great photo, then #4 perfect reflection of such a happy face!, and then #5 looks very interesting with the double imagery. Looks like you and Brady had fun! #6 just makes me laugh - good capture!
All good Tonya....my favorite was #1....even if I didn't know Brady. This child's face is contemplative and focused on 'something' outside. I really like the reflection of his image and the way that reflection blends back into the screen. You also used lighting to your advantage....very nice! #4 would have been slightly better if your lens and hand were not showing in the reflection. I also really liked the double image on #5....provides tremendous interest!
Your b+w's are beautiful- black blacks, white whites, and many shades of gray in between. The details are fascinating- I love the pensiveness of #1, the topsy turvyness of #2, the reflection portrait in the glasses in #3, and the portraits of your furry family member using reflection. Great job!
Tonya, These are all really good quality black and whites. The cd is very interesting to look right into, and very original as reflection and refraction. Mirrors and dog all have personality. Makes me chuckle to wonder what he is thinking in #6

ReplyDeletethanks Mark, I agree I was struggling with this and had to add my cute subjects in for inspiration.
